Judith Elaine Loganbill

Judith Elaine Loganbill, born May 5,
1953 died December 19, 2020 at her home in Wichita, KS.
She is survived by her brother, Mike
(Denise) Loganbill of Pratt, KS; two nieces, Amy and Angela Loganbill
of Wichita, KS; an uncle and numerous cousins. She was preceded in
death by her father, F.C. ""Chuck"" Loganbill;
and mother, Elaine H. Loganbill.
Judy was a graduate of Bethel College
in North Newton, KS and Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.
She was an active member of Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church in
Wichita, KS. She was a member of the NEA and KNEA. Most recently as
the President of the KNEA-Retired program. Judy was an elementary
teacher for over thirty-five years. She was a past participant in the
Fulbright Teacher Exchange program serving in England for one year.
Her most memorable contribution to the State of Kansas was her
service of twelve years as a member of the Kansas House of
Representatives. In 2000 she was the first Mennonite woman to be
elected to the Kansas House of Representatives. She served the 86th
district with distinction as the only elementary teacher in the
Kansas House.
Cremation has already taken place with
a memorial service to be determined at a later date.
