Maynard Reed Krehbiel, 85

Maynard was born November 8, 1935 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Edwin and Della (Goering) Krehbiel.
He was a member of Eden Mennonite Church in Moundridge.
Maynard
was a farmer and rancher and was one of the last true cowboys. He was a
draft horse enthusiast and lover of history. Maynard often described
himself as a tiller of the earth.
He was united in marriage to Marlene Joy Stucky on August 20, 1954 at Eden Mennonite Church.
They were blessed with four children.
She preceded him in death on December 3, 2020.
Maynard Reed Krehbiel, 85, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Pine Village in Moundridge.

to cherish his memory are his children, Gail Graber of Moundridge;
Wesley (Sheryl) Krehbiel of McPherson, KS; Jennifer (Bob) Schrag of
Galva, KS, and Clinton (Shelly) Krehbiel of Lincoln, Nebraska; ten
grandchildren, Travis (Penny) Graber of Wamego, Nathan (Krista) Graber
of Newton, Joseph (Heather) Krehbiel of Marquette, William Krehbiel of
McPherson, Mary Schrag of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Elizabeth (George)
Wipf of Mitchell, Manitoba, Canada, Ben Schrag of Galva, Madison (Devin)
Dixon of Houston, Texas, Megan (Andrew) Johnson of Stillwater,
Oklahoma, and Emma Krehbiel of Lincoln, Nebraska; eight
great-grandchildren, Bailey, Brody, Elaina, Peter, Daniel, Hudson,
Everette, and Liam; and brother, Ron (Nancy) Krehbiel of Burrton.
Maynard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlene Krehbiel; brother, Bob Krehbiel; and son-in-law, Ardy Graber.
Private
family services will be held at Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at
Moundridge Funeral Home. Due to state mandates and the serious nature
of COVID-19, the family requests friends that want to pay their respects
to Maynard and his family may do so by a drive by viewing at 2 p.m.,
Thursday, December 31 on the west side of Eden Mennonite Church. A
celebration of life service will be announced and held at a later date.
