- Russell H. Schroeder, 47, died Saturday (March 3, 2007) at his residence in
Los Angeles.
He was born
on Feb. 11, 1960, to Delmar and Barbara (Unruh) Schroeder in Newton. At the age
of seven, his family moved to the Greeley area. He graduate from Eaton High
School in 1978, attended CSU, Rosedale Bible College in Rosedale, Ohio, Numidia
Bible School in Pennsylvania, and received his bachelor's degree in business
and his MBA in marketing from his beloved University of Southern California. He
played trombone with the Trojan Marching Band. Most recently he worked as
manger of editorial services and AIG retirement services for Sun America in Los
Angeles. His colleagues will remember him for his professionalism, dedication,
creative thinking, thoughtful consideration of others and good humor. He was a
avid USC football fan. Some of his family's fondest memories will be of his
love for Christmas traditions, his UNO skills, his weekly phone calls to his
parents and his crazy antics when we were together. His love for the Lord
sustained him throughout his life.
Survivors
included his parents, a sister, Kris Kline and husband John of Greeley, Colo.;
brothers, Errol Schroeder and wife Darlene of Windsor, Gregg Schroeer and wife
Cindy of Goessel, Stan Schroeder and Dean Hale of Los Angeles Calif.; and
nieces and nephew.
A
celebration of Russ' life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Journey Christian Church,
2332 W. 27th, Greeley, Co. 80634.
