Royce Saltzman
1956 - 2021
Royce E. Saltzman 64, died Saturday
January 16, 2021 at Newton Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1956
in Seward, Nebraska to Glen and Donna (Roth) Saltzman. In June of
1975 he married Bonnie Hamm at Hesston, Kansas and she survives of
the home.
Royce retired from the tooling
department at Excel Industries in Hesston after nearly 30 years. He
has a love of motorcycles and owned several through the years. He
also built his own motorcycle trike. He greatly enjoyed traveling
with his wife on motorcycle trips including to Colorado Springs.
Royce enjoyed being outdoors and could often be found welding yard
art in his shop.
Family was important to Royce and he
looked forward to spending time with his loving family and friends
and was especially close to his grandson Colton.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie of
the home; daughter Erica Jost and grandson Colton Jost; sister
Shirley Bauer and his special Aunts Erna and Detta Saltzman.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home and a private family graveside
service will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Newton officiated by Pastor
Duane Moraine.

made out to the donor's choice of charity in care of Petersen Funeral
Home.
