Franco Annette Hammel Sjogren
NEWTON — Franco Annette Hammel Sjogren, 52, Newton, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 1996, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita. Mrs. Sjogren was born Franco Hammel on Sept. 15, 1943, at Clay Center and was a resident of Newton since 1971, moving from Johnson County. She was a high school math teacher and a member and elder of the First United Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Ladies Reading Circle, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and Delta Delta Delta Sorority.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Presbyterian Church, the Revs. James W. Anderson and Louis Dale officiating.
Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church Permanent Endowment Fund or the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be at Peterson Funeral Home, 215 N. Main, Newton 67114.
