Longtime Newton resident Lola S. Reber, 81, of 313 Alice, a housewife, died Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) at Halstead Hospital.
Mrs. Reber was born Nov. 28, 1904, in Lovewell to Edwin and Catherine Somber. She married Gilbert L. Reber Feb. 16, 1927, in Newton. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Bob of Newton; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Molzen of Belvue and Mrs. Wanda Neufeld of Inman; and two sisters, Mildred Williams of Neodesha and Lilas Jones of Cape Coral, Florida.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Petersen's Funeral Home with the Rev. Phil Chastain officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday, Sunday, and until service time on Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
