On January 14th, 2021 the world lost a great soul! Don was affectionately known by many nicknames: Dad, Bubba, Bomber and Donnie! Don passed away unexpectedly after a short hospital stay in Kansas and Denver, CO

He was born in Concordia Kansas on 11/2/1946 to Jerome and Evaline (Cyre) Bombardier. At 3 years old they moved to Newton, KS where Don attended St. Mary's Catholic School and Newton High school, graduating in 1964.Shortly after graduation he joined the Air National Guards. In 1966 Don married Ann Adams in Newton KS. They were married for 12 years and remained close friends until her death in 2019. His entire career was spent working on the Railroad for 33 years as a machinist. He spent the majority of his Railroad career in Pueblo, CO. After retirement, he moved to Hawaii with his daughter then to Florida. In 2017 he moved back to Newton KS to be near his sister

Don was preceded in death by his parents, step-mom Lois Bombardier, brother Jerry Wayne and sister Phyllis Haviland. He was survived by sister Mary Jane Tipton of Newton, KS and two loving children Annette Madonna of Nathrop Colorado and son Troy Bombardier of Cape Coral Florida.
