Keiton Reinsch died at his home in Newton June 16, at 2:45, at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 16 days.
He was born in Dauba, Austria, Germany, August 17, 1841. He came to America as a young man in the spring of 1861 and was married to Albena Griesel in Milwaukee, Wis., October 10, 1869, moving to Topeka, Kansas the same year. Six children were born to them, Amelia, Lena, Frances, Charles, and Minnie, one son dying in infancy.
In 1877 the family moved to Newton, and have since made their home here. His wife and two daughters, Mrs. Frances Sallee and Mrs. Amelia Winans preceded him to the Heavenly home.
He is survived by three children, C. W. Reinsch of Provo, Utah, Miss Lena and miss Minnie of Newton, and two little grandsons.
The funeral was held from the home this afternoon at 2:30 and interment was made in Greenwood cemetery.
