Quinn Alan Stephens, 19, died on
February 10, 2021, in Newton, Kansas.
Quinn was born on October 1, 2001, in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to David "Chipper" Stephens and
Pamela Herzet. Quinn attended Newton schools and graduated from
Newton High School in 2020. Quinn was attending Wichita State
University pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. Quinn was
employed part time at South Dillons in Newton.
Survivors include his mother, Pam
Herzet and sister, Hailey Hamm of the home. Father, David Stephens
and brother, Tucker Brown of Oklahoma. Grandparents, Brad and Becky
Vannocker, Bob and Marlene Herzet, all of Hillsboro, and Lisa (Billy)
Stephens-Erwin, Des Moines, Iowa. Great-grandfather, Orville
Vannocker, Florence, Kansas. Aunts, Melissa (James) Parmley of Cedar
Point, Angie (Cody) Chaffee of Clay Center, Jess (David) Vannocker of
Hillsboro, Laila (Kevin) Hajji Down of Johnston, Iowa, Kayla McIntosh
of Newton; uncle, Brett (Amanda) McIntosh, Nebraska. Cousins, Cody
Parmley, Corin Parmley, Ava Vannocker, Aubrey Schlesener, Kynlee
Chaffee, Avery Chaffee, Karley Chaffee, Koen Anderson-Amado, Audrie
Down, Ella Down, Gentrie Down and life-long best friend, Kobi Mathies
of Newton.
A visitation with social distancing
will be on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 pm and
Monday, February 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Petersen
Funeral Home, 215 North Main, Newton, Kansas.
