Ervol Lee Green
NEWTON -- Ervol Lee Green, 69, died Oct. 28, 1988, at his home. Born July 21, 1919 at Lipscomb County, Texas, he married Emma Jean Noe Dec. 1, 1940, at Andrix Colo. A retired Santa Fe Railroad materials supervisor for 40 years, he was a resident of Newton since 1966.
He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Newton.
Survivors: wife, of the home; son, E. Gene, Newton; daughters, Janice A. Robinson, Haviland, Carolyn J. Johnston, Roswell, N. M.; brothers, Afton Green, Lancaster, Calif,. Harold, Helena Okla.; sisters, Vera Pitts, Booker, Texas, Mary Ellen Burns, Houston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral will be 2 p. m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene. The Revs. Michael Edwards, David J. Robinson, and Dr. John L. Robinson. Burial will be in the Restlawn Gardens of Memory, Newton.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p. m. today and from 1 to 9 p. m. Sunday. Family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p. m. Saturday at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton. Memorials may go to First Church of the Nazarene and the Senior Adult Ministry.
