Alice Dyck
MOUNDRIDGE - Alice E. Dyck, 90, died
Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge, KS. She
was born December 3, 1928, at Moundridge, KS, the daughter of Ransom
and Mary (Boeckner) Peters.
She was united in marriage to John Dyck
on September 18, 1949, at Hesston, KS.
She was a member of the Meridian Church
of God in Christ, Mennonite, Hesston, KS.
Alice was a devoted homemaker and
seamstress.
Survivors include: her husband, John
Dyck; children, Ethelyn (Verle) Nightingale of Fredonia, KS, Dwight
(Martha) Dyck of Moundridge, KS, Nelson (Marilyn) Dyck of Leesburg,
OH, and Charles (Laura) Dyck of Moundridge, KS; 13 grandchildren; 37
great-grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters; one step-brother;
and three step-sisters.
Alice was preceded in death by: her
parents; two great-grandchildren; five step siblings; and 11 brothers
and sisters-in-law.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m.,
Thursday, August 15, 2019, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family
greeting friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, at Meridian Church of
God in Christ, Mennonite, rural Hesston. Funeral services will be
held 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 16, at the church. Burial will follow
in the church cemetery.
