Hilda E. Klein
El Dorado - Hilda E. Klein,
89, died Monday (Jan. 2, 2006) in El Dorado. She was born Jan. 8, 1916, to
Samuel and Luise (Korsch) Klein in Newton. They preceded her in death. She
worked in many homes cooking and providing childcare. Hilda was a member of
First United Church of Christ in Newton. Survivors include: a sister, Linda A.
Kasitz; nephews, Robert and Ronnie Kwapis, Ken Holden, Karl Klein Jr. and
Rodney Kasitz; nieces, Delores Thompson, Kathy Klein, Diane Ulfig, Phyllis Boothe and Shirley Smith; five gran nieces;
nine grandnephews; six great-grand great nieces; an three great-great grand
nephews.
She also was preceded in
death by: brothers, Walter G. Klein, August Klein, Karl Klein, Willy Klein and
Johnny Klein; sisters, Louise Holden, Mary Kwapis and Ella Paula Klein; and a
niece, Sandra Jo Klein.
Visitation will be from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 4:15
p.m. Friday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William
Hickerson officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood
Cemetery.
Memorials have been
established with First United Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
