Lois Marie Ferguson Finch
Jantzen died Friday (Jan. 13, 2006) in Newton. She was born Dec. 16, 1927, in
Waynoka, Okla. She graduated from Waynoka High School in Oklahoma and attended
the Kansas Business School in Wichita. She worked as a secretary for the
Wichita Area Vo-Tech school for 24 years. She married Dale Jantzen in 1988 and
they had lived north of Sedgwick. Dale was a farmer in Moundridge for many
years. Dale and Lois were very active at Central Community Church in the in the
Motivators class.
Lois was a beloved wife,
mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include: her
husband, Dale of the home; three daughters, Linda Clatterbuck of Prairie
Village, Carolyn Keener of Lenexa and Nancy Salcedo of Fulton, Mo.; four
stepchildren, Terry, Kent and Kirby Jantzen, all of Moundridge, and Denise
Shipley of Belton, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by:
her first husband, Wayne Finch; and her sister, Doris Henson.
Funeral service was held
earlier today at Central Community Church in Wichita. Pastor Dale Lewis
officiated.
Burial will be 2 p.m. today
at Whitewater Cemetery.
Memorials have been
established with the Motivators Fund in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
