Richard Brent Williams

Richard Brent Williams, 61, died Saturday (Oct. 15, 2005) at
Hutchinson Hospital. He was born June 8, 1944, in Newton, the son of Lester and
Virginia McDonald Williams. He graduated from Newton High School and Fort Hays
State University, with a bachelor of arts degree in business. A resident of
Hutchinson, moving from Lyons, he worked in inventory at Hutchinson
Correctional Facility. He belonged to the Lions Club, Lyons, was a Free Mason
and participated in the March of Dimes Walk America.
Survivors include: three sons, Ronald B. of La Crosse,
Bradley of Denver and A.J., of South Hutchinson; a daughter, Phoebe Barton of
Little River; his mother, Virginia of Newton; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Doug
Williams.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First
Presbyterian Church in Newton.
