Marie Voth
GOESSEL – Marie Voth, 94, homemaker,
certified nurse aide and physical therapy assistant, died Friday
(April 29, 2005) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 21, 1910, to Jacob J.
and Elizabeth (Enns) Schmidt in rural Canton. She married Bernhard F.
Voth Nov. 7, 1931, in rural Goessel. He preceded her in death.
She
was a lifetime Goessel and Hillsboro area resident.
She was a member of Tabor Mennonite
Church.
Survivors include: a son, Lester Voth
of rural Newton; a daughter, Mary Lou Unrau of rural Newton; 6
grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by three
brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 9 p. m.
today with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p. m. at Miller
Funeral Home in Goessel.
Burial will be 10 a. m. Tuesday at
Tabor Mennonite Cemetery.
Memorial service will be 10:30 p. m.
Tuesday at Tabor Mennonite Church in rural Goessel with the Rev.
Corey Miller officiating.
