Wayne W. Wiggers
HALSTEAD -- Wayne W. Wiggers, 92, of rural Halstead died
Monday (Sept. 5, 2005) at his residence.
He was born Dec. 1, 1912, in McPherson County to Noah and
Ida (Holdeman) Wiggers. They preceded him in death.
He was a farmer. On March 7, 1937, he married Eula L. Unruh
in Hesston. She died June 5, 2003.
He was a member of Meridian Church of God in Christ
Mennonite in Hesston.
Survivors include: wife, Betty Rose Roberta; sons, Orlin
Wiggers of Halstead and Eldo Wiggers of Moundridge; daughters, Trudie Wiggers,
Oma Wiggers and Nancy Wiggers, all of Halstead; brother, Virgil Wiggers of
Moundridge; sisters Ethel Becker of Moundridge and Vera Peters of Louisville,
Ga.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Hilda Wiggers;
brothers, Ernest, Earl and Orville Wiggers; and a sister, Gladys Schneider.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Meridian Church of God
in Christ Mennonite in Hesston. Officiating will be ministers Eldon Wenger,
Franklin Wenger and Shawn Geisel.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kaufman Funeral
Home in Halstead. Visitation with family is from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Burial will be in Meridian Church of God in Christ Cemetery.
