1940 - 2021
Ronald Lee Dyck, age 80, Newton,
Kansas.
Ronald's life began on April 26, 1940,
the son of Elmer and Lula (Rempel) Dyck in Newton, Kansas. He
graduated from Berean Academy in 1959 and then attended trade
schools. He married Genevieve Grace Penner on October 18, 1975 in
Hutchinson, Kansas. Ron was a member of Newton Bible Church, an
electrician for Harms Electric and Greenway Electric and he also
enjoyed woodworking.
His loving family includes his wife,
"Genny" of 45 years; son, Jonathan (Susie) Duke of
Grinnell, Iowa; daughters, Christina Burke of Jacksonville, Florida,
Heidi Norris of Grinnell, Iowa and Johanna Spencer of Newton, Kansas;
7 grandchildren, Katie and Joey Burke, Dash, Audrey, Lyla and
Hemingway Norris and Weston Duke.
He was preceded in death by his
parents. Ron passed away peacefully into his Savior's arms on
Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the age of 80 years old.
His family will gather with friends on
Friday, March 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home, 120 S. Main,
Whitewater, Kansas. The family will have a private burial in Pleasant
View Cemetery in Elbing, Kansas. Funeral service will be held on
Saturday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. at Newton Bible Church, 900 Old Main
Street, Newton, Kansas with Pastor Matt Kruse officiating.
