Clark Gilbert
1947 - 2017
Obituary
Clark Preston Gilbert, 70, of Newton,
passed away peacefully Saturday (March 18, 2017) at Salem Home,
Hillsboro.
Clark was born Jan. 20, 1947, in
Kingman to Kenneth and Winifred (Jones) Gilbert. He graduated from
Dodge City High School in 1965 and attended Dodge City Community
College. On April 4, 1970, he married the love of his life, Rebecca
Durham, in Mullinville.

was an avid San Diego Chargers fan. He also loved NASCAR, fishing,
billiards, KU basketball and K-State football, but spending time with
his family and granddaughters was what he enjoyed the most.
Clark is survived by his wife of 46
years, Beckie, of the home; his daughter, Brittney Shay Helm and her
husband Chane of Newton; four granddaughters, Savannah Justis Pryor,
Aspen Shay Pryor, Joscelyn Lee Helm and Daytona Faith Doty-Helm, all
of Newton; sister, Patricia Graber of San Diego; and brother Wayne
Gilbert of Davis, California.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, Kenneth and Winifred; and his precious doggie Keely Snow.
