Robert Keith Adams, 53, was born on
August 21, 1967, to Gerold and Dorothy Adams and grew up in Winfield,
Kansas.
Robert made his home in Newton, where
he was united in marriage with Brenda Kay Castleberry on June 2,
2005. In joining Brenda, he gained four children whom he loved
dearly.
Robert passed away peacefully at St.
Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas on May 2, 2021.
Robert enjoyed fishing, camping,
cooking out, and spending time with his loved ones.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy
Brown, 72, of Harrison, Arkansas; wife Brenda Adams; children
Stephanie Martinez and husband Manual; two grandchildren Kaitlin and
Robert Paul of Independence, Kansas; Crystal Huff and three
grandchildren Dragyn, Isabella, and Lydia of Ottawa, Kansas; David
Castleberry, Jr and wife Crystal of Parker, Kansas, and Tiffany Evans
and husband Ernest, and one grandchild Tanya of Newton, Kansas.
Robert is also survived by his brother
Phillip Ray Brown and wife Jutta of Germany; sister Kimberly Kay
Regnier and husband David of Ridgedale, Mo.; niece and nephew Alexis
and Marcel Brown of Germany; Garth Regnier and wife Taylor, Dylan
Regnier of Ridgedale, Mo.; great nephews and nieces Caiden, Payton
and Moanna of Missouri; brother Bud “Buddy” Adams of Newton;
along with his uncle James Adams of Newton; and numerous cousins.
Robert is preceded in death by his
grandparents Emerson “Bud” and Virginia Adams; father Gerold
Adams; and uncle John Adams, all whom had lived in Newton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at
4:30 P.M., Sunday (May 16, 2021) at the Athletic Park in Newton,
Kansas, family and friends are welcome.
