Dolores P. Rioz
Dolores P. Rioz, 91, died May 27th,
2021 at her home surrounded by family.
She was born September 15th, 1929, the
daughter of Ignacio and Maria (Netti) Martinez.
Dolores was a loving mother, sister,
grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother; she was
all around great.
She is survived by her daughters,
Antonia Espinoza and respected children and grandchildren and Anna
Sanchez and respected children, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert Martinez and Benny Martinez;
and sister, Molly Martinez.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm –
5:00pm on Monday, May 31st at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton. Rosary
will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 1st, followed by a Funeral Mass
at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 421 S. Ash St.,
in Newton, Kansas. The Reverend Jorge Lopez Celebrant. Burial will be
in the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Newton, Kansas. Memorials may be
made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and left with Petersen
Funeral Home.
