Benjamin Tyler Davis
Goessel - Benjamin Tyler Davis, 39,
passed away on Sunday (June 13, 2021) after a courageous battle with
cancer with the love of his beautiful family.
He was born on August 21, 1981 in
Newton, Kansas, the son of Becky Barker and Glen Davis. When Ben was
12 years old, he earned in Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do. During his high
school years, he was a life guard at the Newton Recreation Center and
graduated from Newton High School in 2000. He later attended Wichita
State University.
For the past several years Ben has
worked along side of his dad at Davis Pest Control.
The simplest pleasures in life brought
great joy to Ben. He loved spending time with his family. He had an
inspiring ability to find happiness even on the bad days.
Ben's battle with cancer showed his
courage. Fighting everyday with a smile on his face. He will forever
be our hero. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Ben.
Survivors include his wife Cassandra
Sauceda, whom he married on October 22, 2005 in Newton; his four
children MaKayla, Gunner, Braxton, and Axyl all of the home in
Goessel; along with his parents Glen and Becky Davis of Newton.
He is preceded in death by his
grandparents Morris and Viola Barker and Harry "Bus" Davis;
and his father-in-law Patrick Sauceda.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00
A.M., Friday (June 18, 2021) at the Newton Christian Church.
A memorial has been established with an
educational fund for Ben's four children. Contributions may be sent
to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks.
