Charles David Unruh
Peabody - Charles David Unruh, 85,
passed away on May 8, 2013, at Bethesda Home in Goessel.
He was born on March 19, 1928, in
Newton, the son of Bernhard "Ben" and Margaret Klassen
Unruh. On Jan. 24, 1953, he married Dora R. Goertzen at Tabor
Mennonite Church. She survives of the home.
He was a farmer, stockman and soil
conservation contractor. Charles graduated from Walton High School in
1946, and was a member of the Walton Lion's club, and the Tabor
Mennonite Church.
He is survived by his sons, Lewis A.
and wife Carrie of Peabody, Harlin D. and wife Doris of Peabody, and
James L. and wife Karen of Clay Center; sisters, Renetta Plett of
Okeene, Okla., and Betty and husband Arnold Ratzlaff of Hutchinson;
nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation
will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, at Tabor
Mennonite Church. Private inurnment will take place in the Tabor
Mennonite Church Cemetery. A celebration of life will be at 6 p.m.
Thursday, May 16, at Tabor Mennonite Church, with Pastor Philip
Schmidt officiating.

Home or the MCC Meat Canning Upgrades, in care of Miller-Ott Funeral
Home, Goessel.
