Clinton E. Fisher 90, died Friday, August 6, 2021 at Kansas Christian Home, Newton.
He was born March 9, 1931, at Peabody, KS to Virgil L. and Fannie Mae (Weiser) Fisher. He was a 1949 graduate of Walton High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was a Burrton area resident for 59 years and worked as a lineman and agent for KG&E for most his working life. He was a member of Faith Community Bible Church, Lions Club and Gideons International. He also volunteered as a Boy Scout Troop Leader.
On October 18, 1951 he married Phyllis J. Wedel at Peabody Methodist Church, she survives of the home. Other survivors include sons: Vince (Lora) Fisher, and Kent (Dixie) Fisher all of Burrton; sister: Carmen South, Peabody; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Cary Lee Fisher; grandson, Lucas Fisher; and brother, Douglas Fisher.
Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. The family will be present from 4:00-6:00. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 16, 2021 at Faith Community Bible Church, Burrton with Pastor Travis Heneha officiating. Burial will follow at Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, KS. Memorials may be given to Gideons International in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
