JOHN S. GIBBENS, 50, Miami resident for the past 22 years, died yesterday in Detroit. Formerly with United Cigar Stores here he moved to Detroit in 1942. He was a World War I veteran and member of Coral Gables post, American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Trice Gibbens; three sons, John S. Jr.; Harry and Roy P. of Detroit, and three brothers. Burial will be in Miami under direction of Philbrick Miami funeral home.
