Gage David Hardtarfer
Halstead - Gage David Hardtarfer, 22, died Thursday, July 1,
2021 at his residence.
He was born April 20, 1999 at Newton, KS to Mark A. and Sara
J. (Leatherman) Hardtarfer.
He graduated from Halstead High School where he was active
in football and baseball.
He was a sheetmetal mechanic at Spirit Aerosystems and was a
line worker at Standridge Color Corp.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister;
Megan (fiancée Connor Freund), Wichita; grandmothers: Elaine Leatherman,
Moundridge; Janice Maus, Wichita; grandfather: David (Mary) Hardtarfer, Newton.
He was preceded in death by grandfather: Allan Leatherman,
step-grandfather:Pee Wee Maus, cousin: Terrin Barnard and his beloved dog
Henry.
Private family services will be held.
Memorials may be given to Beauties and Beasts Rescue Inc. or
Caring Hands Humane Society in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
