Eleanor Mosqueda

Eleanor Cecilia Mosqueda, 94, died
Sunday (September 19, 2021) at her home in Newton.
She was born on November 22, 1926 in
San Bernadino, California where she was raised and graduated high
school.
Eleanor married Michael Bernard
Mosqueda in Las Vegas, Nevada. With Michael serving in the U.S. Armed
Forces for 22 years, the lived in several places. Moving to Newton in
1986.
She loved spending time with her family
which includes her sons, Joe Padilla of Moline, Ill., Mike Mosqueda
of Newton, Eddie Adame and wife Lupe of San Bernadino, Calif., Julio
Mosqueda and wife Monica of Newton; daughters Eleanor Vasquez of
Wichita, Emily Billa and husband Mario of Newton, and Darlene Stewart
and husband Harvey of Wichita; 41 grandchildren; along with numerous
great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Eleanor is preceded in death by her
parents Gabriel and Eleanor Richards Adame; husband, Michael on April
22, 2001; son Frank Padilla; daughters Dolores “Lola” Murillo and
Marie Durgin; brothers George, Freddie, Raymond and Gabriel, Jr.; and
her twin sister Rosie Valdez.
Private family services will be held.
