Lee Ray Hiebert
1935 - 2021
Lee went to be with the Lord his Savior
on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the age of 85.
He was born July 19th, 1935 to Frank
and Olga (Franz) Hiebert.
He lived in the Newton and Walton area
most his life. He married his childhood sweetheart and Love of his
life, Patricia McNolty on Nov. 11, 1956.
Lee was in the Army in the late fifties
and early sixties, serving in Germany as a Military Police Officer,
and then serving 3 more years in the Reserve. He worked in the Mobile
Home Industry, Newton Schools and Newton City Parks Dept. He was a
handy guy to have around and loved to help others.
Cars were his second love. He loved
racing, always wanting the newest car, and talking about cars. Lee
never met a stranger and was always wanting to help others.
He is surely enjoying the presence of
his Lord, his wife Pat, parents, brother Frank Hiebert and brother
in-laws, Jim Wiebe, Harvey Siemens, Art Janzen, Tom Williams and
Charles McNolty. And several cousins and friends.

Hiebert (Nicole), Brad Hiebert, Troy Hiebert (Carol) and is daughter
Kim Adams (Tony). Grandchildren, Sara Hiebert, Ashley Hiebert,

Cemetery in Newton on Monday, March 3rd at 1:00 PM. All friends and
family are welcome to celebrate Lee's life.
Special thank you to the Schowalter
Villa staff who went out of their way to make Lee comfortable and
enjoyed his spiritedness. So many kind folks who made him feel
special and brought him candy bars. Also to the wonderful Good
Shepherd Hospice staff who loved him as much as we did and took the
best care of him. It was a tough year with COVID, and all above was
his family for us.
Condolences can be given at Baker
Funeral, www.bakerfhvc.com.
