Delores Enda Peterson
Newton - Delores Enda Peterson, 85, passed away September 4,
2021 in Newton, KS.
She was born May 11, 1936 in Goessel, KS to Walter J. and
Anna (Heibert) Schmidt.
Delores is survived by her son Kevin (Cheryl) Cook, daughter
Sandy (John) Cyre, stepdaughter Jill Woolwine, brother Leroy (Nancy) Schmidt,
sister Gladys (Gene) Downen. She has 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren,
and many nieces, nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Larry
Cook, John Harvey, and James Peterson, daughter Anna Warnock and sister Ruth
Ann Schmidt.
Delores was a member of the Goessel Mennonite Church, and
longtime member of the Red Hat Society. She spent many years as a rancher and
horse trainer.
Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
