Betty Jo Nachtigal
Moundridge - Betty Jo Nachtigal, 84,
died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Pine Village, Moundridge, KS.
She was born May 22, 1937 at Pittsburg,
KS to William W. and Pauline (Jacobs) Willis.
She grew up in Pittsburg and attended
Pittsburg schools. She graduated from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing as
a Registered Nurse. She worked in many healthcare facilities in the
Halstead and Newton areas retiring from the Reno County Health
Departmart.
On August 29, 1959 she married Wilbert
R. Nachtigal at Pittsburg, he survives of Moundridge.
Other survivors include son: Jay (Amy)
Nachtigal, Leawood, KS; daughters: Anna (Todd) Hanchett, Newton, KS;
Amy Moore, Magnolia, TX; brother: Roy (Marilyn) Willis, Omaha, NE;
seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
with the family present from 6:30-8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 2, 2021
at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at First United Methodist Church,
Halstead with Pastor Jeff Graber officiating.
Interment will follow at Halstead
Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to First United
Methodist Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
