Cheryl Ashcraft

Cheryl A. Ashcraft, 76, died Tuesday
(November 23, 2021) at her home in Newton, Kansas.
She was born on February 14, 1945 in
Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Leland and Claribel Hurlock
Nossaman.
Cheryl married Willard C. “Butch”
Ashcraft on June 5, 1965 in Wichita. They lived in Wichita until
moving to Newton in 1972.
She worked at the Harvey County
District Court Office for 13 years, retiring in 2010. Cheryl was a
longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Newton.
Survivors include her husband Butch
Ashcraft; daughters Carrie Holler and husband Gary; and Kelli
Ashcraft with companion Angie Stroda all of Newton; grandchildren
Abbie Shanelec and husband Evan of DeSoto, Ks., Emilie Holler of
Valley Center, Gage and Allie Ashcraft of Newton.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her
parents and brother Ron Nossaman.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00
A.M., Saturday (December 4, 2021) at the First United Methodist
Church in Newton.
There will not be a visitation or
viewing as cremation has been effected.
A memorial has been established with
Good Shepherd Hospice, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial
Funeral Home, 120 E. Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
