Elsie May Keilman
Halstead - Elsie May Keilman, 74, passed away peacefully on October
17, 2021 at her apartment in Halstead, KS. She was born on August 21, 1947 in
Ellinwood, KS. The daughter of James (Jack) William Hammond and Shirley (Davis)
Hammond. Elsie loved spending time with her grandchildren, and reading.
Whenever she got the opportunity she loved to play bingo and go to the casino.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Bauserman and her
husband Richard of Brighton, CO. Nephew Jeffrey Sr of Kersey, CO. Son, Jason
Keilman and wife Ashley of Manhattan, KS, daughter, Marsha "George"
Moore and husband Jason Olmitz, KS. Son Shawn Keilman and wife Kaylee of Great
Bend, KS. Grandchildren include Ashlynn, Bailey, Landon, Brynn, Karter, Eli,
and Brooklynn. Nephew Eli Hammond. Great nephew Jeff Jr Pride and niece, Kayla
Gabel.
She is preceded in death by her twin daughters Melissa and
Michelle, and brother James Hammond.
Graveside service will be on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at
Coats Cemetery in Coats, KS at 3:00 p.m. with viewing 30 minutes prior to
service.
