Obituary
Ana Maria Vargas, 85, died Sunday (October 24, 2021) at the
Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita.
She was born on July 10, 1936 in St. Antonio de Horta,
Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Ricardo Castillo Yepez and Filomena Yepez.
She moved to Newton in 1994.
Among her survivors are her children, Ricardo, Emelia, Jose
Luis, Antonio, Rogelio, Teresa de Jesus, Ma de los Angelos and Felipe Castillo
Vargas.
The casket will be open at the funeral home on Friday (Oct.
29th) between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., with the Mass of Christian Burial at
5:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton.
Interment will be held later in Irapuato, Guanajuato,
Mexico.
