Jeanette Boston, 83, died Monday, October 25, 2021 at NMChealth in Newton. She was born January 31, 1938 in
Wichita, Kansas to Luke Cornelius and Mary Jane (Marak) Fox. On August 16, 1958
she married Garry Boston in El Dorado, Kansas and he preceded her in death on
September 9, 2016.
She was a long time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in
Newton. In 1970 Jeanette alongside her
husband formed Boston Insurance in Newton.
Her pride and joy was her family, and she looked forward to watching her
kids and grandkids sporting events and spending time with them during special
events and holidays.
Jeanette and Garry raised five children, Michael (Sue),
Mickey Stump (Vern), Mark (Elyse), Chris Wedel (Travis) and Marcia Mathews
(Bud) all of Newton. She is also survived by: 15 grandchildren and 7 great
grandchildren. Jeanette has a brother Mike (Kathy) Fox and Janice Mosier that
also survive.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister
Pat Topel and brother Bob Fox
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday,
October 29, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Newton with The Reverend
Nicholas Voelker, celebrant. Recitation
of the Holy Rosary will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church. The
casket will be at the church from 4 p.m. Thursday and will remained closed. Burial will be in the St. Mary Catholic
Cemetery in Newton.
