Franklin Dean Loyles, 78, died Saturday (January 8, 2022) at
the Kansas Christian Home in Newton.
He and his twin brother, were born on July 19, 1943 in
Wichita, Kansas, the son of Franklin Ward and Anna Laura Phillips Hickerson
Loyles. Frank was raised in Wichita and attended South High School along with
working at his father?s construction business.
Frank married Colleen Ratzloff on May 15, 1970 and they had
four children. Frank and Colleen were later divorced.
He had worked at Excel in Hesston, Heckendorn Manufacturing
in Cedar Point, and was a driver for the Salvation Army in Newton. Frank
enjoyed writing poetry, fishing, sports and time with his family.
Survivors include his sons Chad Loyles of Newton and Brian
Loyles of Texas; daughter Heidi Herbrich of Texas and Dalene Mesecher of
Halstead, Ks; and four grandchildren.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; twin brother
James Eugene Loyles; and two sisters (which were also twins) Dollie Jean Ellis
and Ollie Lea Odle.
Cremation has been effected with private inurnment in the Greenwood
Cemetery in Newton, Ks.

Ks.
