Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Houser died at her home in this city, Monday night, after a short illness. She was first taken sick with erysipelas, but the immediate cause of her death was an affection of the heart.

Elizabeth Waters was born in Tennessee in 1835 and was married to Peter Houser, who with seven children survive her. The children living in this vicinity are Mrs. J. H. Spell, Mrs. Jerry Bard and William Houser.

She was a consistent member of the Christian Church, and had been for many years. The funeral services were held from the family home Wednesday morning and were in charge of Rev. McLain.
