NEWTON -- Carroll Lee Harder, 75, died Friday, May 11, 2012, at HCA Wesley Hospital, Wichita. He was born Aug. 19, 1936, in Newton to Herbert and Helen (Wuthrich) Harder.

Survivors: wife, Verna (Chapple), of Newton; sons, Randy (Lori), of Andover, and David (Vicki), of Newton; sisters, Rogene House, of Omaha, Neb., and Joyce Mayfield, of Oklahoma City; grandsons, Todd, Andrew and Alex; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 14, at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Swiss Church Family Life Center, Whitewater.
