Mark Allen Embry was born January 22, 1961 in Hoisington,
Kansas and died April 19, 2022 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita,
Kansas. He grew up in Oklahoma but called Newton, KS home.
He married Gloria Mosqueda in April of 1981. Together they
had three children- Steven, Jennifer (Brandon) Hasty, and Derek (Michelle). He
had fifteen grandchildren, who he loved more than anything.
Mark worked hard all his life and spent most of those years
at Agco in Hesston, KS. He could fix anything with wheels or an engine and
loved to spend time fishing at the lake. He was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs
fan and never missed a game.
Mark is also survived by three sisters Tracy Yotter, Kathy
Embry-Naillieux, and Sonya Douglass with her husband Craig.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Karon and Larry
Embry and granddaughter, Lauren Paige Kemp.
The casket will be open at the funeral home on Thursday
where the family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00 P.M. Services will be Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at First
Baptist Church in Newton. Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
