Shirley Maureen Stubbs, 81, passed away
Oct. 9, 2017, at Asbury Park in Newton. She was born Aug. 10, 1936,
in Minneapolis, the daughter of Johnnie and Lela (Ocher) Goodall.
Shirley worked as a custodian in the
Newton school district, USD 373, until her retirement. Shirley
married Robert M. Stubbs in 1957 in Newton; he precedes her in death.
She is survived by a son, Kevin Stubbs;
a daughter, Cindy Smith; two brothers, Johnnie D. Goodall and Michael
Goodall; a sister, Carol Swem; three grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is also preceded in death by her
parents; and a son, Steven J. McKinnie.
