Beverly Lynn Musgrove, 60, of North
Newton, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. Beverly was born
on May 4, 1962 to Robert Eugene and E. Berniece (Drew) Musgrove. She
grew up on the family farm outside of Rolla, Kansas.
Following graduation from Ulysses High
School in 1980, Beverly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Biology from the University of Southern Colorado in 1985. She
returned to the family farm and spent the majority of her life
farming alongside her family.
She loved nature and could usually be
found outside. She enjoyed mowing the yard, driving the tractor,
spending time with the farm cats and dogs, and she could be counted
on to make something crafty out of whatever she found in nature. The
mountains brought her spirit peace.
Lifelong learning was a passion. She
loved learning about the local history wherever she found herself.
She was an avid student of the Santa Fe Trail, fossils, gems, and
rocks. She enjoyed being a member of the McPherson Gem and Rock
Society and was often seen attending local history lectures at the
public library.
Beverly?s unique way of living made
her a memorable person. She is preceded in death by her parents,
Robert Eugene and E. Berniece Musgrove. She is survived by her
brothers, Ted Musgrove and his wife, Parvin, and Tod Musgrove and his
wife, Ramona; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many close
friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites
