LaDonna Mae Schneider, 83, died Tuesday (June 28,
2022) at the NMC Health Center in Newton, Ks.
She was born on December 12, 1938 in Seminole, Oklahoma, the
daughter of James A. and Agnes Bethel Reinhart. LaDonna graduated from high
school in Flora, Illinois.
Later retuning to Oklahoma, LaDonna eventually moved to
Wichita. While working as a dispatcher at M. Bruenger Trucking in Wichita she
met Robert Hilton Schneider. They were married on October 10, 1975 in Wichita.
LaDonna and Bob became agents for Keystone Lines and Malone
Trucking and they later would become independent ICC Logistics Brokers under
the name Bo-La Services until retiring in 2000.
She was a very active member of the First Church of God in
Newton.
Survivors include her children Kevin Hudson and wife Sharon
of Newton, Brian Keith Hudson of Newton, Brenda Brown and husband Ron of
Abilene, Ks., Dawn Long and husband Roger of Lenexa, Ks., and Chandra McCoy and
husband David of Avondale, Az.; daughter-in-law Shelley Hudson of Independence,
Ks.; 18 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.
LaDonna is preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob on
November 10, 2019; son Kenneth L. Hudson; brother James Reinhart; and sister
Betty Reinhart.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday (July
2nd) at the First Church of God in Newton. Inurnment will be in the Restlawn
Garden of Memories outside of Newton.
A memorial has been established with the First Church of
God, contributions may be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, 120 E.
Broadway, Newton, Ks. 67114.
