Don Leroy Jones, 63, died Thursday
(June 9, 2022) at his home in Halstead, Kansas.
He was born on May 17, 1959 in Newton,
Kansas the son of Cleland "PeeWee" and Pauline "Polly"
Piland-Adams Jones. Don was raised and attended schools in Newton.
Through the years he had worked at
Prestressed Concrete, Agco and Bunting Magnetics.
Survivors include his sister Terrie
Portlock and husband Darrell of Newton; nephew Jason Portlock and
wife Melanie of Lafayette, Indiana; and niece Kelsey Portlock of
Newton. He is also survived by his children; step-children; and
grandchildren.
Don is preceded in death by his parents
and nephew Jeremy Portlock.
Cremation has taken place with private
inurment in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
Arrangements are by Broadway Colonial
Funeral Home, Newton.
