BENTLEY?Gary L. Wilson, 78, died,
Friday, April 29, 2022 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 28, 1943, at the
family home at Patterson, Kansas to Keith William and Wilma Margaret (Smith)
Wilson.
He was a graduate of Bentley High
School and was a lifelong area reside.
He was a member of Bentley United
Methodist Church and worked as a truck driver for Swiss Burger Meats and
Barsol.
He was a member of Newton Masonic
Lodge 142, the Consistory, and the Scottish Rite of Wichita. He was also former
Mayor of Bentley
On May 20, 1972 he married
Dorothy Ann Scott at First United Methodist Church Newton. She survives of
Bentley.
He is also survived by several
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a stillborn
son; Gary Jr., and brothers; William, Larry and Gerald.
Viewing will be from 2-8 p.m.
with the family greeting friends from 6:30-8, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Kaufman
Funeral Home, Halstead.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m.,
Friday, May 6, 2022 at Bentley United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jan McDaniel
officiating.
Masonic committal service and
interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley.
Memorials may be given to Bentley
United Methodist Church or Masonic Lodge 142, Newton, KS in care of Kaufman
Funeral Home.
