Beverly Diane Mayeske, age 63, of El Campo, TX (formerly of
Newton, KS), passed away at sunrise, May 13, 2022 at MD Anderson Hospital,
Houston, TX. Beverly was born January 30, 1959 to Alva and Neoma (Nightengale)
Mayeske at Fredonia, KS. She so bravely walked her breast cancer journey.
She grew up alongside 6 sisters and 5 brothers. Beverly
attended Fredonia High School through 11th grade and later earned her GED,
graduating with her class of 1977. She continued her education in the insurance
field and was employed in various jobs of that nature throughout her life.
Beverly loved all things beautiful and lived every day with vibrance. She had a
keen interest in others, especially her nieces and nephews. Often she expressed
her love and care for others by giving thoughtful gifts.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Neoma
Mayeske, her two sisters, Lois (Tim) Hochstetler and Katherine (Dale) Schmidt,
one brother-in-law, Dale Schmidt, one great nephew, Lamar Mayeske, and one
great niece, Lauren Schultz.
She is survived by 5 brothers, Dwight (Jeanie) Mayeske,
Allen (Anne) Mayeske, Stanley (Linda) Mayeske, Karl (Jan) Mayeske, and Danny
(Julie) Mayeske, 4 sisters, Janet (David) Giesbrecht, Linda (Wendell) Wedel,
Barbara (Lennis) Schultz, and Margaret (Ron) Jantz. A sister-in-law, Maxine
(Dale) Schmidt and a brother-in-law, Tim and Anita Hochstetler. As well as many
nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at Emmanuel Mennonite Church,
Fredonia, KS. Viewing will be May 17, 2022 from 6:00PM ? 8:00PM.Funeral will be
on May 18, 2022 at 10:00AM. Memorials are suggested to Beverly?s Memorial in
care of Wickham Family Funeral Home.
