Clifford D. Kater, 90, passed away unexpectedly on
Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born to Otto and Ella Kater on July 27, 1932 in
Newton, KS.
Cliff worked as a supervisor of building and grounds for
Junction City school district. He was an
educator, owned a driving school and a custodial supply company.
You could often find Clifford enjoying a peaceful day of
fishing or spending quality time with his beloved grandkids.
Clifford made a point to be thoughtful and kind to every
person he met. He loved making people smile, even on his final day he was in
good spirits and winning the affections of his nurses and those nearby.
Cliff is survived by his brother, Jack Kater of Sedgwick,
KS; son, Dale D. Kater of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Tamlette V. Pouncil of
Wichita, KS; as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Donna June Kater on July 8,
2022.
