Obituary

John Gradert died yesterday afternoon about 2 o'clock at the Bethel hospital where he has been for the past month. He underwent an operation and seemed to be doing well, when he had a sudden illness Tuesday which resulted in his death. Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Sofia Streublin, Mrs. Emma Lettau and Miss Hanna Gradert. His funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock at the German Lutheran church and burial will be made in the city cemetery.
