Lorrayne G. Unruh Pankratz, 89, died on
August 24, 2022, at Kidron Bethel in North Newton, Kansas.
She was born on July 25, 1933 in Great
Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Harry and Lena (Schultz) Unruh.
Lorrayne attended Bethel College and
Emporia State University for a degree in education. She taught at
Albert, Scott City, Larned and Newton.
Lorrayne enjoyed reading, traveling,
and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with
Norman she enjoyed bird watching at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge.
Lorrayne is survived by her husband,
Norman L. Pankratz; daughter, Andrea Unruh and husband Merrill; 3
grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
To honor Lorrayne and her love of pink,

The memorial service will be Saturday,
September 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Mennonite Church in
Newton, Kansas.

made to Mennonite Central Committee.
