Rose Marie Crawford, 81, of North
Newton, Kansas, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, September
5th, 2022. She was born on December 9th, 1941, in Newton, Kansas to
Arthur Friesen and Rosella (Schmidt) Friesen. Rose graduated from
Newton High School in 1959.
Rose was a woman whose passion for
Elvis was only second to her passion for her husband and family. She
spent most of her working life as a pharmacy technician at Wilson
Drug Store before retiring in 2004.
Rose married Robert Keith Crawford on
June 22, 1968. They were blessed with two daughters: Kelly Ann and
Christine Marie.
Rose is preceded in death by her
parents, Arthur and Rosella Friesen, and daughter, Karla Marie. She
is survived by her husband, Robert Crawford; daughters, Kelly (Louis)
Brouillard and Christine Topping; sister, Linda (Ines) Flores;
brother, Kenneth Friesen; granddaughter, Samantha Stenner; and many
other nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
A memorial has beeA funeral service
will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 2pm at Stockham
Family Funeral Home in McPherson, KS. The family will receive friends
from noon until service time on Thursday, September 8, at the funeral
home. A graveside service at McPherson Cemetery will immediately
follow the funeral service.
