Andrea Nell Sharp, 37, beloved
daughter, sister and friend, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022,
after a long illness. She was born to Gene and Janice Sharp of Valley
Center, KS, on April 27, 1985, and attended Valley Center schools,
Newton Christian High School (Class of 2003), Butler Community

librarian alongside her mom at the Valley Center Public Library,
until sidelined by health issues that included back injuries and

sassy, unapologetic personality, a bright smile and loud laugh. She
enjoyed time with family, friends and pets; books; old movies;
clothes and purses; and family vacations to Iowa. A solo trip to
Scotland in 2019 was her favorite. She was preceded in death by Aunt
Mary Kathryn Esau of Newton, and grandparents Mary and Fred Budde of
Newton and George and Maurine Sharp of Wichita. She is survived by
parents Gene and Janice Sharp; brother Glen Sharp; cousins Victor
Esau, Diane Blaylock (Dennis), and Irvin Esau; dog Chester and
ex-library cat Pages. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday,
