Frank Adler, son of Martin Adler, who lives east of town, died Sunday morning in the German hospital in Kansas City. He was twenty-four years old and had been ill only a few days with appendicitis.
For several years before going to Kansas City he was employed by the Newton Milling and Elevator Company and has been working in a mill in Kansas City. He was an upright and industrious young man and his many friends will be grieved to learn of his death.
The body was brought to Newton this morning and the funeral will be held tomorrow morning in the Catholic Church at ten o'clock.
