Grace was born to George and Helena Abrahams in Goessel, KS. Grace attended Emmenthal Elementary School and graduated from Goessel High School. She continued her education at Bethel College
and Hutchinson Community College.
Grace married John Schroeder on December 10, 1947. They lived in North Newton, KS and raised two children, Jeffrey and Catherine.
Grace was active in the Bethel College Mennonite Church and committed her life to many volunteer organizations.
Grace will always be remembered for her beaming smile and the love she showed others.
Grace is preceded in death by her husband John. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Schroeder of Los Alamos, NM and Catherine Holdeman of Wichita, KS and their spouses Mary Kay and Delvin
Holdeman. Grace had four grandchildren; Jessica Schroeder of Colorado Springs, CO, John and Jenny Schroeder of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Emily and Mark Raybould of Ramona, CA, and Meghan Schroeder of Santa Fe, NM.
In addition, she has 3 great grandchildren, Sawyer, Cali and Zachary.
Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
